The Magor Brewery, one of the largest breweries owned by AB InBev, celebrated its 35th anniversary recently.
The brewery currently employs over 400 people from the local community to produce the much-loved beers: Stella Artois, Budweiser and Beck’s.
Built by Whitbread in 1979, the brewery now boasts a plaque in memory of this anniversary.
David Ball, who unveiled the commemorative plaque to celebrate this milestone, has spent 31 years of his life enjoying working for AB InBev at the Magor Brewery.
His positions have ranged from lab technician to forklift driver but by the age of 23 he had become a brewing technician.
He has had the privilege of working alongside many people who were at the company from day one and in that time has witnessed countless positive developments at the brewery.
The Magor Brewery produces 792 million pints each year and has the potential to make 1.8 million cans, 2 million bottles and 13,000 kegs in just one day.
